I turn complexity into clarity and structure
in the business behind your content.
I work alongside the people behind growing creative businesses.
My clients might be creators, artists, beauty or wellness professionals, educators or experts. Different businesses, but often at a similar point: an established audience, growing opportunities and more happening behind the scenes than one person can comfortably hold.
My background spans television, film, drama, digital and live production, including work for streaming platforms and festivals - a world of tight deadlines, lots of moving parts and zero room for anything falling through the cracks. But the role I’ve always played is the same, wherever the work happens: making complex work feel clearer, bringing people together and helping the right things happen.
That experience has given me practical ways to plan, organise and deliver creative work. I adapt those processes for growing creative businesses, keeping what’s useful and removing unnecessary complexity.
Strong ideas are rarely the problem.
The challenge is often finding the time, structure and headspace to decide what matters, develop opportunities and keep the right work moving.
I step into busy creative businesses, understand the bigger picture and help connect ideas, people and priorities.
The support looks different for every business, but the aim is the same: clearer priorities, stronger structure and work that keeps moving.
HOW I WORK
I’m naturally curious about how a business works.
I like getting into the detail, spotting what’s making life harder than it needs to be and finding a practical way through.
CREATIVE INSTINCT
Seeing the potential in ideas, content and opportunities and where they could lead.
COMMERCIAL PERSPECTIVE
Looking beyond individual pieces of content to the wider business, audience and opportunities around them.
PRACTICAL DELIVERY
Turning ideas into clear
priorities, plans and action.
CALM STRUCTURE
Creating simpler ways of working behind the content so the business feels easier to run.
“Women make content happen” was the first thing I wrote down when I started thinking about this business.
After years of working alongside brilliant women who create, organise, solve problems, bring people together and keep things moving, it felt like the simplest way to describe what I’d seen and been part of throughout my career.
We Make Content Happen grew from that idea - and from wanting to support growing content-led creative businesses, with a particular interest in women’s health across every life stage.
I love working alongside people and small, collaborative teams, where I can get close enough to the business to understand the bigger picture, see what matters and help keep the right things moving.
Because behind great content is always a lot of work. And it shouldn’t all sit with one person.
Who this is for
People whose business has grown out of their content, expertise or creative work - and who are ready to hand over real ownership, not just tasks.
If you’re still figuring out what your business is, it’s probably too early for this.
If you’ve built something that’s working, but too much still depends on you, that’s exactly where I come in.
